In 1975 |
Founder Masahiro Lee graduates from National Institute of Technology, Nara College with specialization in mechanical engineering.
Lee joins the development/production team at a major electronics manufacture and its affiliates to be engaged in developing and manufacturing electronic devices.
While in the previous company, he engages himself in designing and manufacturing of semiconductor manufacturing equipment in the collaborative project with Matsushita Electric Industrial.
During this time, Lee makes various inventions and develops semiconductor manufacturing systems to commercialize his inventions.
Lee visits countries overseas to promote and sell his systems as the development and sales manager. |
December 1995 |
With supports from customers and distributors, Lee establishes Teikoku Taping System Co., Ltd. to develop/manufacture new technologies/products. |
May 1996 |
The Company’s research and development plan is accredited by the Act on Temporary Measures for Promotion of Creative Business Activities of Small and Medium-sized Businesses.

The Company’s capital increases from 15 million to 22 million JPY by receiving an investment from Nagoya Small and Medium Business Investment & Consultation Co., Ltd. |

The Company moves its head office to the current location (43-1 Harabuto Kagiyamachi, Tokai-shi) to expand the operations and include a new clean room. |
October 2011 |
Establishes Teikoku Taping System, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. |

Establishes Teikoku Taping System (Singapore) Pte Ltd. in Singapore. |
December 2020 |
25th Anniversary since Teikoku Taping System founded in 1995. |

Became a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Kayaku Co Ltd. |
